We are very lucky to be located right next to our parish church of St. Joseph’s. Our parish priest is Fr. Michael Jones and our new assistant priest is Fr. Gavin Landers. We embrace each and every opportunity to attend Mass and visit St. Joseph’s Church as often as we can. Each Wednesday one class attends Mass at 10am. The children take part with the readings, bidding prayers, hymns and the offertory procession. All parents and carers are very welcome to join us.
At the beginning of each new term we celebrate with a “welcome back” Mass, looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Sunday Mass is celebrated at 9.30am. The final Sunday of each month is a family Mass, led by our school chaplains. This is followed by tea and breakfast. It is wonderful to see so many of our children and families attend, and provides an additional opportunity to come together as a school and parish family.
Our children in Year 3 who are preparing to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, spend time every week with the catechists in Church to develop and deepen their faith.
