Lledr Hall 2016

Day Four

This morning, after another good night's sleep and breakfast, we split into our two groups for our last day of activities! One group set off for an action-packed day of canoeing whilst the second group headed out for a morning walk and spot of fishing in nearby Betws-y-Coed and then rock climbing/scrambling along the river in the afternoon! What a fantastic day to end our Lledr Hall trip!

Now we're off to enjoy our last evening meal, and maybe even a bit of dancing at our final night party!

Day Three

After a good nights sleep, and a hearty breakfast, we split into our two groups to brave the torrential rain and start our activities for the day. One group went to a local, disused slate mine, where they explored the corridors and caverns in an underground adventure!  While the second group stayed at Lledr and tackled the jungle gym and high and low ropes. For tea we had an excellent chicken dinner and now that the rain has cleared, we are off for a scavenger hunt in Lledr's grounds.

Tuesday Morning:

Morning started bright and early for some! Everyone was fine through the night and we are busy tucking into a full cooked breakfast ready for the day ahead. We'll try to post more photos tonight. Bye!

Day 1

We arrived at Lledr, all excited and ready for the challenges ahead. After dumping our bags we made our way in mini buses to Dolwyddelan. Unfortunately the mini buses left us there and we had to walk back along the river’s edge. The scenery was fantastic – we definitely know we’re out of the city!

After unpacking in our dorms, we were treated to the feast of a lifetime, with soup, pizza and profiteroles for pudding.  We all ate something and none of us are going to go hungry this week! The fun didn’t end there, after dinner we did orienteering around the hall and even managed to forget that the football was on! A quick shower later, and we were all ready for bed, and hopefully an early night.

We will try to keep you updated as the days go by, but we might be too busy having fun!

Night night!
