Year 2 have been doing some exciting experiments in Science. We have been investigating how far germs spread by using glitter and finding out how important it is to keep clean.

Year 2 are busy planning their non-chronological reports in class. They are making up their own character in Frozen and sharing their fantastic ideas with their partner!

To celebrate Chinese New Year we joined up with year 1 and had a very busy afternoon. We enjoyed tasting different foods and using chopsticks as well as making lanterns, fans, roosters, bookmarks and our own yummy spring rolls!

Your child will be given a new homework grid every half term. We would like your child to choose at least one activity from the grid each week. Your homework books need to be returned by Wednesday every week and the book will return to your child on a Friday.

Take an Accelerated Reader quiz at home or show your parents all the books you have read on your own bookshelf.
